PRESS RELEASE: Announcing the Canadian Genealogical Research Institute

For Immediate Press Release:

ANNOUNCING THE FIRST EVER CANADIAN GENEALOGICAL VIRTUAL INSTENSIVE

July 18 to 23, 2021

Genealogy partners Kathryn Lake Hogan and Christine Woodcock are thrilled to announce a NEW genealogical institute for family history researchers with Canadian ancestry, the Canadian Genealogical Virtual Research Intensive (CGVRI).

This virtual institute is similarly formatted to other well-known genealogical institutes such as the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburg (GRIP) and the Institute of Genealogy & Historical Research (IGHR).

CGVRI will be dedicated to Canadian genealogical research.

The first institute will consist of two different course tracks running concurrently. Students will earn a certificate of participation at the closure of the course of their choice, which can be used as evidence of ongoing professional development for genealogists. Each course will provided 22.5 hours of learning.
